Myself and my groups Director of Photography (DOP) Haokai journeyed back out to Havant today in order to film not one but two whole films for Off The Record in one day. These films being the second and third ones which mainly focused on the charity’s counselling services and how they benefit young people. Whilst the other film centres on the large variety of different types and styles of artwork the young children and adults who participate in group work and managing emotions courses which is another subsidiary service Off The Record provides. Both myself and Haokai managed to record a lot of great footage including some great interview pieces which can be used later on when I edit the films in AVID. Overall the amount of planning and preparation I did for this shoot ultimately paid off as it allowed us to finish up on time and obtain every shot we need. I can honestly say that after today’s shoot I am 100% confident in these two films turning out as great end products for Off The Record to use in the near future.
