Third and Fourth Shoot on Left Behind Grad Film

The third shoot for our Graduate film took place this evening at the Robin Lodge Air BnB at Rowland Castle which involved a heavily late night shoot starting from 6pm and ultimately ending at midnight. Although for what it’s worth we managed to get a bunch of good looking shots from outside the house of our main character breaking in to the place. The only downside of the entire shoot was the lighting involved inside the house due to the nature of the scene involving to be a very dark scene. This is being due to our main character Pete breaking in to someone house and wanting to avoid any light as possible just in case the owner returns all of a sudden. So in order to achieve very subtle lighting we used a bunch of Arri Dedo Lights however the Canon C300 didn’t seem to pick up much light in nearly all the shots featuring both main characters upstairs at the same time. Meaning at some point in the near future there will be reshoots needing to be taken place at this location.

The next day on the 24th of March turned out to be more of a relaxed shoot compared to the night before. This was simply due to a lot of the scenes being very laid back as there isn’t much action going on in the scenes that were being shot in both housing locations we were using. Making the filming process a whole lot easier on the cast and crew.
