Fundraiser for The Graduate Film titled Left Behind has begun!

As part of my course this year myself and a group of five other students must create a graduate film with a duration of 15 minutes in total length. Whilst the last couple of months we have been struggling by tossing around multiple ideas of what could work and what couldn’t work. However now it is safe to say we have officially wrote our first draft of the script which also means now that we are at a stage where we can start marketing our film on crowd fundraising sites since we now have a clear vision as to what our story is all about. Which is why as of today we have successfully begun our Indie Go Go campaign of trying to raise £2000 as that is the estimated amount we will need in order to ensure we can afford everything we need to. As the producer on this project I knew it was important to plan a rough budget in advance with a lot of estimated costs in the process. Another thing worth noting here is that even though I am not the editor on this film I did however cut together our sizzle reel which will be present on our Indie Go Go page. As well as on our social media pages such as the Facebook page which I have also created for the film. The campaign will last from now until early February so it will be interesting to see how much we manage to raise over the course of two months.
